The Host

Bro. Tom Harvey

Tom is also a minister at his local church and enjoys community work. When time permits, he and his wife love to travel and they are both self-proclaimed “foodies”! Tom Harvey resides in the Dallas Texas area with wife Sharlonda. He’s the father of one daughter, Paris who’s a Nursing Professional living in Los Angeles. With over twenty five years of management experience in corporate America, working for several Fortune 500 companies, Tom works hard to be an effective communicator and understands the concept of effective dialogue being key to influencing those you want to help. Tom is also a minister at his local church, enjoys community work and involvement and when time permits, he loves to travel!

Tom Harvey first found his way into the listening public by accident. In 1987, while driving home from work and listening to one of the local radio stations in Houston, TX, the station was soliciting for volunteers with no experience to come and try out for an announcer position. He took on the challenge and became the newest announcer at KWWJ 1360AM in Baytown (Houston), TX. While there, Tom produced and hosted such shows as “Houston’s Own” and “Praise After Dark”! Various work related moves and promotions in corporate America required him to take up new residence in a number of major cities across

the country, however, Tom always kept close ties in broadcasting. In 1992, he landed an announcer position with WWCA 1270AM serving the Northwest Indiana and Chicagoland areas. Tom is founder and CEO of SmartTalk Enterprise LLC a company he started in 2016. His company provides voice over services, audio/visual presentations, ministry, with plans to launch a motivational speaking series and books. Don’t be surprised if you hear his voice on local, regional and even national ad campaigns. He also provides pro bono work as an audio voice reader for the Cleveland Sight Center and Gatewave Reading for the blind in New York City.
